Like the proverbial multi-tool Kevin has created a company in his own image. One that has a has a solution for every event(uality). And with him having been involved in the industry since the time of the Norman Conquest, he’s got plenty of experience to draw upon. So you can be sure you’re in safe hands when Kevin’s on the case. And he always is.
Powered by a nuclear fuel rod (with a half life of 10000 years) – he’s well set for meeting the event needs of the next millennium – so, whenever you’re shaping up your event, not only can you draw upon the best advice, but you can do so 24/7.
Interestingly, Kevin entered Yorkshire’s event industry on the back of 8 years in the Royal Corps of Signals – which we believe explains his fondness for accessories and equipment. He also loves Bradford City Football Club (for which he is receiving intensive counselling)
When we asked him for a list of his ten favourite things – he gave his answer in the form of a mime. We have yet to uncover the meaning behind his contortions.
Office & Account Manager
Often your first point of contact, Joanne is the lovely lady who will discuss your requirements and who prepares your quote – as well as keeping all the paperwork associated with a busy events company in some kind of order. It’s a thankless task (though we do regularly thank her).
After many a year in the banking, insurance, and travel sectors – where she worked in customer service and complaints teams (now that truly is a thankless task) Joanne ‘jumped ship’ and joined us – and we’re eternally grateful.
When we asked what her 10 favourite things were, she replied Lanzarote and food (on repeat to infinity)
John is your onsite miracle worker, dealing with, and solving, any problems you may have. And then quickly and efficiently removing everything once the event has reached its successful conclusion.
He has a vast wealth of event experience – having earned his corn throughout South, East, North and West Yorkshire, since Pictish times (when he was actually paid in corn).
An interesting biological quirk means that John has an, as yet, undiagnosed bladder condition that allows him to foresee event crises before they happen. It’s a twinge of some sort, apparently.
When asked about his ten favourite things he responded in the form of a food order – ‘Fish and chips 10 times please…’
We couldn’t establish what the collective noun was for marquee riggers and event assistants – perhaps something on the lines of pod, herd or flatulence. Whatever it is, we’ve got one.
